Kimberly's Family

Family has always been important to me. Beside my immediate human family, in my adult life my animals have always played in that role as well. When I was single, my birds were my babies. The Christmas card from 1992 shows my birds and me. Lucky is the green budgerigar. Gypsy is the blue one and Jasmine is the cockatiel.

Then I met Wayne and snakes and other reptiles became a part of my life. Here is a picture of me at a company chili cook-off with a gray-banded kingsnake.

In 1999, we added another living creature to our home.
Our son, Caleb Wayne Howell, was born on November 4, 1999.
Here are some pictures from the family photo album.

Kim, Caleb, Melody and Gabrielle spending a day at the beach in Galveston. Caleb loved the sand and water!

Caleb and Kim getting ready to go to the Texas Renaissance Festival. We always go in costume and live the fantasy!

Halloween is always a fun time of year. Melody, Gabrielle, Caleb and I went to the Houston Zoo's ZOOBOO celebration and had the best time.

Of course, on Halloween, Caleb went out for his first Trick or Treat.

We were the baby rhinoceros and zookeeper team and got lots of candy!

What child of ours would be complete without Creepy Creature being his first birthday theme? A good time was had by all, especially Caleb as he helps us sing "Happy Birthday!"

The day after his birthday, Caleb was baptized. Here are Uncle Jeff, Jeannie and Caleb...all dressed up and someplace to go!

Kim with Caleb and Harold.

Caleb and his daddy always have a good time!
